‘Blanket’ is a structure made from over 9,000 wine lids connected into a chainmail pattern. The structure hangs between the trees allowing the landscape to be seen through the form whilst acting as a protective armour to the fragile environment.

The structure is a metaphor for the  state of fragility in which the environment has endured in recent times. Raising issues of sustainability in our fast-paced society. This glorification of the mundane object brings light to the waste produced from everyday packaging.
